Description

A delicious blend of crispy hash browns, savory sausage, and cheesy goodness, perfect for serving a crowd or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cooked sausage, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown and sausage mixture. Stir until well combined.
  6. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Transfer the mixture to the dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For best results, ensure hash browns are fully thawed and drain any excess liquid from the sausage.
