- 4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cooked sausage, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown and sausage mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Transfer the mixture to the dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
For best results, ensure hash browns are fully thawed and drain any excess liquid from the sausage.
