- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 20 oz frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the thawed hash browns evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hash browns.
- Top the casserole with the cooked sausage and then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
