Description

A comforting casserole that combines kielbasa sausage, fresh green beans, and potatoes for a satisfying meal, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it’s soft and translucent.
  3. Add the sliced kielbasa sausage to the skillet, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in the diced potatoes and green beans. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a large baking dish. Pour in the milk and mix everything together.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to pack the ingredients too tightly for even cooking. Test potato doneness with a fork.
