- 1 pound Kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 4 cups Green beans, trimmed
- 4 Medium potatoes, diced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the sliced kielbasa to the skillet and cook until browned.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the diced potatoes, followed by the green beans and kielbasa mixture.
- Season the layers with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the chicken broth evenly over the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, add shredded cheese if desired, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking the green beans to preserve their crunchiness.
