Description

A hearty and comforting casserole combining sausage, green beans, and creamy potatoes, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups Green beans, trimmed
  • 4 Medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the sliced kielbasa to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the diced potatoes, followed by the green beans and kielbasa mixture.
  5. Season the layers with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the chicken broth evenly over the casserole.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil, add shredded cheese if desired, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the green beans to preserve their crunchiness.
