Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced

Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.

- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and onion to the skillet. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the browned patties to the skillet. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, until cooked through.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir into the skillet and cook for an additional minute until thickened.
- Serve hot with gravy poured over the top.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding different types of mushrooms or herbs.
