- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley and thyme), chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the ground beef with breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until combined.
- Roll the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes or until they are cooked through.
- Heat the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce in a skillet. Whisk in the flour to thicken the sauce, stirring continuously.
- Add the baked meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy.
- Boil a pot of salted water, add the cubed potatoes, and cook until tender.
- Mash the potatoes with milk, butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the garlic herb mashed potatoes topped with Salisbury steak meatballs and gravy.
