Description

A simple and flavorful pull-apart bread filled with melty brie, tart cranberries, and a savory herb butter, perfect for holidays and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round sourdough loaf
  • 10 ounces brie cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, or cranberry sauce
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment.
  2. Slice deep grid shaped cuts into the sourdough loaf without cutting all the way through.
  3. Melt butter and stir in rosemary, thyme, honey, orange zest, and salt. Mix until herbs are evenly distributed.
  4. Tuck brie cubes deep into each cut in the loaf, pressing gently to sit securely in the pockets.
  5. Spoon cranberries or cranberry sauce into the spaces between cuts, pushing lightly to hold in place.
  6. Brush the herb butter mixture over the loaf and inside the cuts, then bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cheese is fully melted.
  7. Drizzle honey and add fresh herbs on top, serving immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. For best taste, reheat before serving.
