- 1 round sourdough loaf
- 10 ounces brie cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, or cranberry sauce
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment.
- Slice deep grid shaped cuts into the sourdough loaf without cutting all the way through.
- Melt butter and stir in rosemary, thyme, honey, orange zest, and salt. Mix until herbs are evenly distributed.
- Tuck brie cubes deep into each cut in the loaf, pressing gently to sit securely in the pockets.
- Spoon cranberries or cranberry sauce into the spaces between cuts, pushing lightly to hold in place.
- Brush the herb butter mixture over the loaf and inside the cuts, then bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cheese is fully melted.
- Drizzle honey and add fresh herbs on top, serving immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
