- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add flour, sugar, and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Divide dough into four portions, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out each dough portion into a circle, spread with chocolate, jam, or sprinkle with nuts and cinnamon sugar.
- Cut into wedges and roll up each wedge from the wide end.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
- Cool before serving.
