Description

Bright and delicious Royal Blue Candy Apples that are perfect for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Blue food coloring
  • Wooden skewers or sticks

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly, then insert a wooden skewer into the top of each apple.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Allow the mixture to boil without stirring until it reaches the hard crack stage at 300°F (150°C).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and blue food coloring until well combined.
  5. Carefully dip each apple into the candy coating, allowing excess coating to drip back.
  6. Place coated apples on a parchment-lined sheet and let cool for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Once the candy coating is firm, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid refrigeration to maintain coating texture.
