Bright and delicious Royal Blue Candy Apples that are perfect for any festive occasion.
Ingredients

- 4 medium apples
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blue food coloring
- Wooden skewers or sticks
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly, then insert a wooden skewer into the top of each apple.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Allow the mixture to boil without stirring until it reaches the hard crack stage at 300°F (150°C).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and blue food coloring until well combined.
- Carefully dip each apple into the candy coating, allowing excess coating to drip back.
- Place coated apples on a parchment-lined sheet and let cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Once the candy coating is firm, serve and enjoy!

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid refrigeration to maintain coating texture.
