Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Before cooking, have all your ingredients ready. Slice the beef and chop the vegetables.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and mixed vegetables to the pan. Stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  5. Taste the stir-fry and adjust with more salt or soy sauce if needed. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
