Description

Delightful beef meatballs with a festive twist, featuring a sweet and savory cranberry sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and pour cranberry sauce over them evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional cranberry sauce if desired.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the meatball mixture and ensure the meatballs are cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
