Description

Deliciously cheesy Pizza Burritos filled with pepperoni and smothered in sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus extra for topping
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup warm marinara or pizza sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until soft and pliable.
  3. Lay one warm tortilla on a flat surface and spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce down the center.
  4. Sprinkle roughly 1/4 cup mozzarella and a tablespoon of cheddar over the sauce, then arrange a single layer of pepperoni slices on top and add a small pinch of Parmesan.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
  6. Repeat filling and rolling with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  7. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter or olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
  8. Brush the seasoned butter mixture over the tops of the burritos, then sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve the hot Pizza Burritos with warm pizza or marinara sauce for dipping.
