Description

Delicious and easy-to-make pizza bites that combine the flavors of pizza in a fun, poppable form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can Pillsbury biscuit dough (about 16 oz)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • About 30 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for topping
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the can of Pillsbury biscuit dough and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Set aside the shredded mozzarella cheese and the pepperoni slices.
  4. In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  5. Toss each biscuit dough piece in the flavored butter, then dip it in the mozzarella cheese, and wrap a slice of pepperoni around it.
  6. Grease a bundt or deep cake pan.
  7. Layer the biscuit bites in the pan, alternating with additional pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly, then invert onto a serving plate and serve warm with pizza sauce.

Notes

Don’t overcook to avoid drying out. Feel free to add veggies or use different cheeses for variations.
