Description

Delicious donuts filled with creamy pistachio and coated in rich chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pistachio cream
  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (for chocolate coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your donut pan by greasing it with cooking spray.
  3. Mix the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fill the donut molds halfway with the batter.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the donuts in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Fill each donut with pistachio cream using a piping bag.
  10. Melt the bittersweet chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  11. Coat each filled donut in the melted chocolate.
  12. Set the donuts on the wire rack until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
