Description

Delicious and easy appetizer featuring beef Little Smokies sausages cooked in a sweet and tangy glaze of pineapple juice and brown sugar.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef Little Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped pineapple (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a slow cooker. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the Little Smokies sausages to the slow cooker and mix well to coat the sausages in the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for about 120 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with chopped pineapple if desired.
