Description

A cheesy and comforting taco bake made with crescent rolls, seasoned beef, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (80% lean or higher)
  • ¾ cup thick and chunky salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Shredded lettuce, to taste
  • Diced tomatoes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles, pressing together to form a crust in a 9-inch square baking dish.
  3. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, simmering for about 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the crescent roll crust, then top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes, top with lettuce and diced tomatoes, then serve.

Notes

For optimal results, always preheat your oven and ensure the beef is well-drained.
