Description

A delicious appetizer made with sausage, bacon, and a creamy filling, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sausage
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or smoker to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Cut the sausage into thick rounds, about 1 inch wide, and press the middle to form a cup shape.
  3. Mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheese, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  4. Fill each sausage cup with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each filled sausage cup with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  6. Place the pig shots on the grill or smoker and cook for 1 to 1.5 hours, until the bacon is crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your new favorite appetizer!
