Description
A juicy and tender fried chicken sandwich marinated in pickle brine, packed with flavor and served with fresh toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces Boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup Pickle brine
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- Oil for frying, as needed
- 4 pieces Sandwich buns
- Lettuce, as desired
- Tomato slices, as desired
- Pickles, as desired
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by placing it in a bowl and pouring pickle brine over it. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Prepare the flour mixture by mixing all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in another bowl.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, enough to submerge the chicken halfway.
- Dredge the marinated chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure each piece is well coated.
- Fry the chicken in the hot oil for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast the sandwich buns in a separate pan or under the broiler until golden.
- Assemble the sandwiches with lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by tomato slices, the fried chicken, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your sandwich while it’s fresh!
Notes
For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Adjust the oil temperature to avoid greasy chicken.
