Description

A juicy and tender fried chicken sandwich marinated in pickle brine, packed with flavor and served with fresh toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Pickle brine
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Oil for frying, as needed
  • 4 pieces Sandwich buns
  • Lettuce, as desired
  • Tomato slices, as desired
  • Pickles, as desired

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by placing it in a bowl and pouring pickle brine over it. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Prepare the flour mixture by mixing all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in another bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, enough to submerge the chicken halfway.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure each piece is well coated.
  5. Fry the chicken in the hot oil for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Toast the sandwich buns in a separate pan or under the broiler until golden.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by tomato slices, the fried chicken, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your sandwich while it’s fresh!

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Adjust the oil temperature to avoid greasy chicken.
