Description

A delicious twist on classic meatloaf, infused with the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak, featuring ground beef, peppers, onions, and provolone cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, diced bell peppers, and diced onions in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Top the meatloaf with shredded provolone cheese.
  5. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender. Experiment with different cheeses and seasonings to customize your meatloaf.
