Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Additional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and cornstarch, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Drop dough balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are still soft.
