- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 12 ounces white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Crushed peppermint candies for topping
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the semisweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate in a similar fashion, then stir in the peppermint extract. Pour it over the hardened semisweet chocolate and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top and press lightly.
- Refrigerate until set, then break into pieces to serve.
