Description

Deliciously rich brownies topped with creamy white chocolate and crushed peppermint candies, perfect for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and half of the crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. While the brownies are baking, melt the white chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  8. Once brownies are done, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top.
  9. Sprinkle remaining crushed peppermint candies on top of the white chocolate.
  10. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate and avoid overmixing the batter.
