Description

Delicious sticky buns topped with caramel and crunchy pecans, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, butter, and egg. Add to the flour mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle brown sugar and chopped pecans on top.
  5. Roll up tightly and slice into buns.
  6. Place buns in a greased baking dish and pour caramel sauce over them.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, use warm milk to activate the yeast. You can also make these ahead of time and warm them before serving.
