Description

Delightful mini desserts that pack all the flavors of traditional pecan pie into bite-sized shells, perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of mini phyllo pastry shells
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add in the chopped pecans and mix to combine.
  4. Place the mini phyllo pastry shells on a baking sheet.
  5. Fill each pastry shell with the pecan filling, about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the pastry is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
