- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips until well combined.
- Scoop portion-sized amounts of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use creamy peanut butter for a smoother texture and don’t skip the salt to enhance flavors.
