Description

A delicious fusion of pizza and patty melt, featuring caramelized onions, ground beef, and a blend of cheddar and Swiss cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza crust
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Mushrooms (optional)
  • Jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. In another pan, season the ground beef with salt and pepper and cook until browned.
  4. Roll out the pizza crust on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Evenly spread the cooked ground beef on the crust, followed by the caramelized onions.
  6. Sprinkle the cheddar and Swiss cheese over the top. Add pickles, mushrooms, or jalapeños if desired.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Let the pizza rest for 2-3 minutes after baking to help the cheese set for cleaner slicing. Adjust toppings to personal preference.
