Description

A delicious blend of juicy beef and gooey melted cheese grilled between slices of golden bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (American or Cheddar)
  • 1 large onion (caramelized)
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  2. Cook the patties on a grill or skillet over medium heat until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add slices of bread. On one side, place a slice of cheese.
  4. Place a patty on top of the cheese followed by caramelized onions and another slice of cheese. Top with another slice of bread.
  5. Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, flipping once.
  6. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For variations, consider adding jalapeños for spice or sautéed mushrooms for a richer flavor.
