Description

Delicious bites of creamy cheese coated in crispy Parmesan, perfect for snacks or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat for best results)
  • 12 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
  • Olive oil spray (if baking) or vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, soften cream cheese at room temperature. Add fresh herbs, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Scoop small portions of cream cheese mixture and roll them into balls (about 1-inch in diameter). Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Spread grated Parmesan cheese on a flat surface. Roll each cream cheese ball in the Parmesan to coat.
  4. If baking, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking sheet with olive oil. If frying, heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

Serve with marinara, ranch, or spicy buffalo sauce. Can be baked for a healthier option or fried for a crispy treat.
