Description

A delightful and easy side dish that transforms broccoli into a flavorful part of your meal with the addition of Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the broccoli into florets.
  3. In a bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  4. Spread the broccoli on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the edges are crispy and the broccoli is tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve immediately.
