Delicious, crispy bites of bread coated in garlic and Parmesan, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 day-old baguette, Italian loaf, or ciabatta, cut into 1 to 1.5-inch cubes
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano or Grana Padano
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the bread into uniform 1 to 1.5-inch cubes.
- Melt the butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl and mix in garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the melted butter mixture over the bread cubes and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over the cubes and toss again.
- Spread the cubes in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown, tossing halfway through.
- Transfer baked bread bites to a bowl, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, and toss gently before serving warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container. They can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
