- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the salmon skin-side down in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes until golden crust forms.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the salmon and cover it with foil to keep warm.
- Make the sauce by lowering heat, adding butter and garlic to the skillet and sautéing until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice to the skillet and stir well to combine.
- Serve the salmon with the lemon garlic butter sauce on top and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Be careful not to overcrowd the skillet to achieve a nice sear on the salmon. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
