Description

Delicious pan-seared salmon with a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Cook the salmon skin-side down in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes until golden crust forms.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon and cover it with foil to keep warm.
  6. Make the sauce by lowering heat, adding butter and garlic to the skillet and sautéing until fragrant.
  7. Add lemon juice to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  8. Serve the salmon with the lemon garlic butter sauce on top and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Be careful not to overcrowd the skillet to achieve a nice sear on the salmon. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
