Description

A simple, delightful recipe for crispy oven-fried chicken using just four ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken pieces (legs, thighs, or breasts)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix salt and pepper into the mayonnaise.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken with the mayonnaise mixture.
  5. Dip the chicken into the panko breadcrumbs and press lightly to stick.
  6. Place coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding hot sauce to the mayonnaise or mixing Italian seasoning with the panko.
