- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks (bone-in, skin-on)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks completely dry with paper towels.
- Whisk together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place the drumsticks in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned drumsticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Flip and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, broil the drumsticks for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness at 165°F (74°C).
