Description
Delicious and easy-to-make oven baked cheesy beef tacos filled with seasoned beef, refried beans, and topped with melted cheese.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 12 taco shells
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- Sour cream (for serving)
- Chopped cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Be sure to drain the excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, cooking until everything is well combined.
- Spread a layer of refried beans at the bottom of each taco shell for added creaminess.
- Fill the taco shells with the seasoned ground beef, and top everything off with diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños if desired.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top of each taco.
- Place the filled taco shells on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the tacos from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Serve with sour cream and garnish with chopped cilantro.
Notes
Do not overcook the beef and don’t skip the refried beans for added moisture.
