Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet and sauté the sliced onions until soft and caramelized.
- Combine cottage cheese, Gruyere cheese, eggs, and sautéed onions in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
