  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the sliced smoked sausage over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic, and cook until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the bell pepper and any additional vegetables, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the rice, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, paprika, black pepper, and salt; stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
