Description

A delicious and practical one-pot dish combining savory sausage, creamy sauce, and tender penne pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound sausage (Italian or your choice)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage to the pot and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the penne pasta, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir everything together.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for a few more minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different sausages or add vegetables. Ensure not to overcook the pasta.
