Description

A simple yet delightful one-pot dish featuring beef sausage, creamy orzo pasta, and rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sausage
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the beef sausage over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the garlic butter to the pot with the sausage and mix until it melts and coats the meat.
  3. Stir in the orzo pasta and chicken broth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
  5. Let it cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and absorbs most of the broth.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, and then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vegetables or adjusting the seasoning to your taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
