- 1 lb beef sausage
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the beef sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the garlic butter to the pot with the sausage and mix until it melts and coats the meat.
- Stir in the orzo pasta and chicken broth.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
- Let it cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and absorbs most of the broth.
- Stir in the heavy cream, and then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
