Description

A warm and comforting dish that combines ground beef, colorful vegetables, and hearty pasta, cooked in one pot for easy preparation and cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups elbow pasta
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Ensure it is well-cooked, and any excess grease is drained off.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Cook until they are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, add the elbow pasta to the pot. Stir to combine.
  5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving. Enjoy your warm and comforting goulash!
