Description

Delicious cookies featuring a gooey Nutella center and soft, chewy marshmallow texture.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nutella Filling: Scoop small spoonfuls of Nutella onto parchment paper and freeze for 20 minutes.
  2. Cream the Butter and Sugars: Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  4. Add Marshmallows and Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in mini marshmallows and optional chocolate chips, then chill the dough for 15 minutes.
  5. Stuff with Frozen Nutella: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten slightly, place a Nutella disc in the center, cover and roll into a ball.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and bake dough balls for 9-11 minutes.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For best results, ensure the Nutella is fully sealed within the dough to prevent leakage during baking.
