- ½ cup Unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups All-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Nutella
- 1 cup Mini marshmallows
- ¼ cup Chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Nutella Filling: Scoop small spoonfuls of Nutella onto parchment paper and freeze for 20 minutes.
- Cream the Butter and Sugars: Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
- Combine the Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Add Marshmallows and Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in mini marshmallows and optional chocolate chips, then chill the dough for 15 minutes.
- Stuff with Frozen Nutella: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten slightly, place a Nutella disc in the center, cover and roll into a ball.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and bake dough balls for 9-11 minutes.
- Cool and Serve: Allow cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For best results, ensure the Nutella is fully sealed within the dough to prevent leakage during baking.
