Description

Delicious and easy No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars made with rich chocolate, chewy oats, and creamy peanut butter, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8- or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. Make the Oat Base: Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and rolled oats until well combined.
  3. Press the First Layer: Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  4. Melt the Chocolate Filling: In another bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together until smooth.
  5. Layer and Finish: Spread the melted chocolate mixture over the oat base and top with the remaining oats. Drizzle any reserved chocolate on top.
  6. Chill and Slice: Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set. Bring to room temperature before slicing.

Notes

For cleaner slices, use a warm knife. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
