- 3 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions (sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers (crushed, about 2 cups)
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and sliced green onions until evenly combined.
- Pour the creamy mixture into the greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until coated.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the top of the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole is great for make-ahead meals. It can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and in the freezer for up to 2 months.
