Description
A deliciously bold burger stuffed with New Orleans flavors, combining olives, salami, and mozzarella for a unique twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup black olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup green olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup salami, chopped
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped olives, chopped salami, mozzarella, capers, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty, making an indentation in the center.
- Stuff the indentation with additional olives, if desired, and seal the meat around the filling.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve on burger buns with optional toppings.
Notes
Let the patties rest after cooking to redistribute juices. Experiment with different cheeses and toppings for variety.
