Description
Delicious meatballs stuffed with gooey mozzarella, served with marinara sauce and optionally over pasta.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 large egg
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- Cooked pasta, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and egg until well combined.
- Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and mold the meat around it to form a meatball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan while the meatballs are baking.
- Serve the meatballs in the marinara sauce over pasta or on their own with vegetables.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat; size meatballs uniformly for even cooking.
