- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- Water for boiling
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously. Gradually mix in the Monterey Jack cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add the Italian seasoning to the sauce and stir to incorporate.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the creamy sauce and mix until well coated.
- Top the pasta with sliced chicken and serve immediately.
Notes
