Description

A delightful combination of creamy milk chocolate, crunchy pecans, and a rich buttery base, perfect for gifting and festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and sweetened condensed milk together until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped pecans, mixing well to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the pecan mixture, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Can be frozen if well-wrapped.
