- Parchment paper or newspaper

Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Gather all materials and lay down parchment paper or newspaper to protect your surface.
- Shave the Crayons: Carefully shave crayons into small pieces using a pencil sharpener or knife.
- Cut the Wax Paper: Cut wax paper into rectangles (about 10×12 inches); use two pieces for each suncatcher.
- Spread the Crayon Shavings: Lay one piece of wax paper down and sprinkle crayon shavings onto it.
- Cover with Another Piece of Wax Paper: Place the second piece of wax paper over the shavings.
- Melt the Crayon Shavings: Use a low-heat iron over the top with parchment paper on top to melt the shavings.
- Let It Cool: Remove the iron after melting and let the wax paper cool for a minute.
- Cut Out Leaf Shapes: Trace and cut out leaf shapes using templates or create your own designs.
- Add String for Hanging: Tape or glue a string or yarn to the top of your leaf shapes.
- Display Your Suncatchers: Hang in sunny windows to enjoy the colorful effects.
