- 1.5 pounds ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley (Optional)
- 0.25 cup ketchup (For topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, milk, egg, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or loaf pan and shape it into a loaf form.
- Spread the ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf for added flavor and moisture.
- Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
