- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken thighs. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken and spread tzatziki sauce on each pita bread. Add chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Roll and secure the pita.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
