  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken thighs. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken and spread tzatziki sauce on each pita bread. Add chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Roll and secure the pita.
  5. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
